“The service is fantastic for those of us who don’t drive. I travel on the Ballingarry to Thurles service everyday which gets me to my course in the LIT in Thurles during the week. The fares are great value for the service I get. It makes it easier to attend College.” – Sean.

“I’m very happy with my bus service. I get to do the post, do a bit of shopping, have lunch with my brother and his wife in town and visit some old friends who can’t get out very much. I love the fun on the bus and the stories that I hear from the other passengers. You’ll always hear something going on that you didn’t know about. The drivers are very friendly and always helpful” –  Theresa.

I meet some of my old friends from school days and many new friends – especially since my husband died. I get mass every Tuesday at 11am in Tipperary Town, which is great. I usually get the Local Link bus twice a week, although I seem to be using it more often now, after they added new services to get my shopping done. The service is brilliant and cheap, and they even accept the travel pass which I’ll hopefully get in a couple of years.” – Norah.

“We are picked up at our door and dropped off there again when we return home, it’s a great service and always on time.  It’s very easy to book, I just ring the office to let them know I’m travelling and that’s it. Without the local community bus I would have no other way to get around as I’m not allowed to drive anymore.” – Tom.
